Chair’s Greeting
Welcome to the Atlanta Chapter of the Institute of Management Accountants. It is an honor to serve as Chapter Chair and to support the continued advancement of our professional community. The vision for our chapter aligns with IMA’s global pillars: advancing the management accounting profession, fostering meaningful professional relationships, and developing the next generation of leaders. Through purposeful programming, continuous learning opportunities, and strategic partnerships, the chapter will continue to provide meaningful engagement that connects theory to practice and reinforces the value of the management accounting profession.
With more than 20 years of professional experience in accounting, I have had the privilege of serving as an entrepreneur and business manager, supporting financial strategies and sustainable growth across diverse industries. In addition to my professional career, I serve as a professor, chair doctoral candidates, and Instructional Mentor within the School of Business at Liberty University, where I remain committed to developing scholars and promoting academic excellence.
I encourage all members to remain actively engaged in the life of the chapter by attending events, sharing professional expertise, mentoring emerging professionals, and pursuing leadership opportunities. Member participation is essential to our collective success as we continue to position Atlanta as a leading hub for excellence, collaboration, and leadership within the management accounting profession.
